Let's get a little weird. I'm reaching a bit, but I really wanted to work on more ninjas. But, following Tremor and Hydro, there really seemed to be none left. Well, without just trying to make a nameless Lin Kuei ninja. However, I started watching some tournament matches and standard gameplay videos. In the midst of this, something stood out to me. Noob has a shadow. I know, that's not news, but I had never noticed just how prominent a character it actually was. Even theorized by fans to be called Saibot, as the name was dropped from Noob's name following Tobias' departure from NetherRealm. I mean, the shadow even shares the victory pose with Noob. But, in figure form, all we get is Noob himself. With that, I found my ninja. And I found out that Noob is one of the pricier ninjas. But, acquiring him was necessary for photo purposes. So, I promptly started to work, and opted to replicate his appearance in the Mortal Kombat reboot. Amazingly, even the shadow has been redesigned throughout each game over the years. Go figure. I gave Subzero a full black repaint, then covered him with a couple of coats of clear blue. It doesn't photograph great, but you can somewhat see a blue hue over the body, with a little bit of a shine. Looks much better in hand. Now on to the dreaded task of more complex Mortal Kombat characters.
