it was the 1996 the year in which the cross-over DC vs. Marvel arrived in Italy. IT was the first time I saw this new spidey costume.
I was just a baby totally impressed by external web-shooters, bigger spider on his chest, half-red boots and alternate fingers color.
too-cool! the best costume then ever, in my opinion.

I made my version of Ben Reilly spider-man inspired by arts of M. Bagley. (always loved big-eyes spidey)

recipe:
base: ML Mr. fantastic;
head: fo baron von strucker resculpted with paper and vinylic glue;
web-shooters: pieces of toothpicks;
paintjob: acrylic metallic blue, acrylic matte red, black CD marker for the webs; iridescent white (eyes).

I smoothed his crotch to give him extra poseability. love it!
