hi I have been trying to do the same but don't know how to remove the arms without missing up can you explain how you did it thanks

it's pretty easy. I boiled hot water in a kettle, then added boiling water to a cup. Then I just placed the figure into this hot water and left for 1 minute. (or maybe more, I don't remember exactly) Then I just pulled them out If it doesn't works, try to hold the figure a bit more in a hot water. Or try to shake it a little bit in a hot water cup, so the water could flew into the joints and warm it up to be easily removed
This method will work only with marvel select figure's shoulders, that have softer plastic parts. It doesn't works with marvel legends figures (old ones by toybiz and new by hasbro), cause they have hard plastic bodies that hold shoulder/legs joints. But it will work for biceps joints and other arms/knees and etc. which have softer plastic parts. Hope it helps
