This was a gift for my girlfriend (now ex-girlfriend, but I don't regret giving it to her) her favorite Final Fantasy is Nine, and Vivi is one of her favorite characters in the game. I had just gotten into customizing and wanted to try doing Mighty Muggs for a change. This was one of my first attempts. As you can see, I've gotten better since then.
Since all the bodies are the same, I just used whatever base body I pulled out of my bunch that I had picked up for clearance price. This one was Grand Moff Tarkin and the only things sculpted are his staff and hat; which unfortunately makes him impossible to stand up on his own without leaning against a wall. It's kind of appropriate though, given that Vivi tends to fall down or face plant.
The hat and staff were done in Aves Fixit Sculpt (in hindsight I should have used Green Stuff for the hat to make it lighter), then the whole thing was painted by hand, and finally his eyes were airbrushed in my attempt to make them glow.
I actually didn't get into Final Fantasy until around the time the PS3 hit retailers. But as of right now I've played 7 through 12 with the exception of 11. Even so, I'm with ya, I miss the 90s VERY MUCH.
