This figure is mostly made from a ML movie Punisher, ML Moon Knight head, LH Madman arms and other figure odds & ends. The horse "Banshee" is a repainted LOTR Arewin horse. This custom is based on the Marvel Comics character Phantom Rider. This character was originally named Ghost Rider as was the western comic that he appeared in, before the flaming skull headed biker we all know. In 1870 Marvel comics continuity, an Indian shaman was given the task of choosing a champion to right the wrongs in the old west by the spirits of a meteor from space. The shaman found that champion in the form of Carter Slade, schoolteacher who hovered around death after trying to fight off bandits. The shaman made Slade healthy again and passed on the message of the spirits, with that Slade took the role of the Phantom Rider with the help of the meteor’s phosphorescent dust that shined brightly in the dark of night giving Slade a eerie ghost-like supernatural look that struck fear in the hearts of evildoers in the old west. Complete with his all white horse, Banshee that was also covered in the meteor’s dust Carter fought as a hero until his end. His Phantom Rider identity was then used by Carter’s brother Marshall Lincoln Slade and still to this day is used by Carter’s great-great-grand nephew Hamilton who is part of the Avengers initiative Texas Rangers superhero team.

AWESOME. I would agree that the gray w/white drybrushing would've been sweet and I don't like the futuristic background but that's just me. Nice work!

Superb! Only thing I can think of that would improve it would be if you had painted it with a grey base and then drybrush the white on. I love white on grey drybrushing. But your white looks really smooth and nice, so you succeeded in what you set out to do.
