Here was my contribution to the Holiday Swap on Facebook.

I was asked to make a DC Steel figure. I wasn't exactly sure which version of Steel he wanted but I figured if he wanted a DCU style Steel he would just buy a Mattel figure. So I decided I would make a ML version of the character. So I took all the parts I liked off of the DCSH Steel and would add them to a ML. The question was which base figure I wanted to use. After a lot of research I finally decide to use the ML Thor buster IM. I liked that the figure was taller and more imposing than most ML yet at the same time it wasn't too overly large. I know that most incarnations of the character he dons a cape but I just didn't think it fit this version of him. I liked the JLU version of Steel where he is cape less. The cape added a splash of red to the character's design that he desperately needed so without the cape I decided to give him small accents or red on his wrists and ankle.

He was a lot of fun to make and I hope the recipient was satisfied with Steel.
