Hello my friends , todays custom was an enigma story wise for me , I made her but did not had a name or a backstory for her until right this very moment and then it click , she looks bestial but classic as well , you know "retro" , and here we go...

The year is 1972 and America is changing (an upcoming war , a space race and a lot free love) it's the perfect time for an adventurous soul to do anything her heart desires (legal or not so legal!) , sometimes a thief , sometimes a spy , but always a free agent , born out of Persian parents (and the best con couple in the world) 18 year old Yelena Markova was raised in the belief that rules and laws were to be bend or broken , but never followed , ambitious , rebellious and charming she pretty much got whatever she wanted , always (well almost!) , even the best of the best can make mistakes (big mistakes!) . While trying to steal the blueprints of a ne prototype Russian weapon for the American C.I.A. she trips a silent alarm and gets caught (and later on badly tortured!) by the Russian KGB , after the fall of the Soviet Union , she is set free (almost 20 years later!) , now almost in her 40's and in a wheelchair (they broke her legs so many times over the years in the Gulag that they never healed properly and are now permanently cripple!!) , moves to live to the U.S. , into Bay City for her retirement (the government compensated her for all the "work" she did for them in the past) , with a new name Helena Marks , she tries to start a new life . We now jump yet another 20 years later , the Nemesis Corporation head of security Ms. Marks WALKS her morning rounds checking all security stations as she usually do every day , strong, secure and extremely beautiful for a 60 year old woman who sticks to the regulation to the letter , close confidant to Lady Frankenstein in both legal and illegal activities , she harbors a secret that no one imagines , she is also the vigilante called The Manticore (man-eater) , based on Persian Myth and a secret Agent of Gaia , sent to infiltrate Nemesis , her legs replaced with bionic implants (ironically a gift by Lady Frankenstein) and rejuvenated in a cellular level by Gaia as her deal with BOTH of them , it's hard to tell were her true loyalties are (hers of course!).

Made from a MLI black at base body , arms and lower legs from a Marvel Select Black Widow , head/face was from a Mattel DCU Big Barda figure and a DCU Mattel Cobra cowl , with small pieces of hair from the Black Cat all glued together , also added a second collar around her neck to connect it to the cowl as one , finally painted her in acrylic kings gold (yellow) and blue , as a fishing touch I gave her a Tech/jet pack with extending leg/blade/claws and hand held weaponized crutches (her bionic implants only function at Nemesis compounds or at close proximity to Lady Frankenstein herself as a way to exert control and dominance over her , outside she can't walk , thus the robotic legs/crutches , as promised this is a bit more complex character and custom , really hope you like her and Thanks , later!
