This is a small custom of Dr. Nathan Wallace from Repo: The Genetic Opera.
The base figure had the ideal coat and posture for the character, so no sculptural adjustments were needed. The entire body was repainted with acrylics. The buckles and buttons were colored with a silver sharpie pen. I then printed off two small "GeneCo" patches I found on the internet, cut them out, and glued them on to the arms. I also used duct tape to create a more prominent collar, which I then used small dots of hot glue to create the studs for it. For the wrist communicator, I cut a very small strip of sheet metal, glued it to the figure's hand, and painted it accordingly.
The head was a little bit trickier. I created a base, cylindrical layer of duct tape over the original figure's head, and painted it the proper color of blue for the helmet's glowing eyes. I then cut progressively finer and more detailed strips of duct tape to create the proper contours and covering of the helmet, leaving the base layer exposed only where the visor was visible. I had to restart a few times to get it right, but I feel I finally captured the shape of the helmet on the 3rd or 4th try, at the expense of most of the figure's neck articulation. To finish it off, I added a silver sequins disk to create the head mirror.
The scalpel was created with the blade of a stencil knife that I filed down with a grinding wheel to resemble the distinctive shape of the scalpel in the movie. The nondescript organ accessory was made with a small rubbery fiber which I then coated with hot glue, dimensional fabric paint, and other things to make it lumpy and fleshy. I then painted it to look like some type of visceral matter, and sprayed it with a clear acrylic gloss to give it that shiny, gooey look so characteristic of organs outside of their natural habitat.
As a finishing touch, I sloppily applied dark red acrylic paint with a Q-Tip, focusing on the hands and chest to make the figure look bloodied and messy. Organ repossession is a thankless job, after all.
