Resculpted the unmasked head to remove the oddly huge amount of wrinkles in it. Mostly sanding, but I carved on his chin to remove the dot-cleft. Repainted it and then shaded the body and shield.:)

I love the effect with the eyes on your figures. Do you paint under a magnifier?

I use two full-spectrum lights, but I don't have a magnifying one yet. I'd like to get one though.

I agree with shingami, Steve looks just slightly pale (although it might just be the lighting). That being said, your paint skills are just amazing - top two or three on this site. Unmasked Steve does look younger (especially in the second pic). And that masked head is just perfect, I love it.

As much as I love your skin paint jobs, I think your characters should finally go out more and catch some sun on their faces

I didn't change the tone of the default plastic the head was cast in, so it could be how I am brightening them in my photo editor for this guy. I didn't brighten the masked head. They match in reality. I'll try to see if I can get better photos of the detail without having to brighten it and see if that helps.
