I'm not a certified Steampunk aficionado, but when I saw this little lady I said WOW! Can't wait to see the re-issues of this girls mags. Well the recipe goes thusly:
Kept the Lilah head and legs because that's what really makes this custom work for me. Separated the Harley Quinn torso with the boiling water method and I was able to glue a ball joint from the fodder box to attach the torso to the waist/legs. Removed the Harley arms and replaced them with a Terminator figs arms. Scored a bunch of those Terminators on the cheap via Ebay. Added a few bits and pieces from the fodder box to bulk up the Terminator arms and sculpted the little "wristwatch" thingies using Apoxie. Painted the arms with Tamiya gold and bronze. Used Apoxie sculpt for the poufy shoulders. Painted the Lilah undergarments with Tamiya flat black. Added a handgun and holster from a Jonah Hex Quentin Turnbull figure---even gave the sucker a cameo role in this presentation for his troubles--- added the bandolier from a ML Longshot figure. The rifle was taken from a NECA Assasins Creed Pirate fig, not sure which, and modified it with bits and pieces from the fodder bin. This figure is a testament to what Figure Realm tutorials preach about NOT THROWING ANYTHING AWAY. No matter how insignificant it may look. Lastly, I made some goggles for my Steampunk beauty from a few bits taken out of the gutted Terminator fig and added a bit of Apoxie, then painted the lenses red. Added a bit more red for her eyes and her lips. Aaaaaand we have the Lady Mechanika! Show my little mechanical babe some love, would you?
Had to look through quite a few images online before I saw ones where she had mechanical arms, haha. Great lookin' fig! You might win the Undervote of the Contest Award this time...
Hey thanks. As long as I got your vote all is good. Yeah she is a very under recognized character but when I saw her I just fell head over heels. Working on another custom of her in her jump suit getup. Hope I do that one some justice.
I think this is a custom by panchopantera, what an amazing figure and the settings she is in, those backgrounds are perfect! Excellent cinematography as usual. She's a beautiful steampunk cyborg of the wild west! 5 Stars!
