Kyle's Cable, D.O.B. 06/01/06. Made with a ML Bishop figure. I removed all his hair and his red scarf. I then sculpted new hair. I cut off his mustache and left sleeve cuff and sanded them. And finally I Painted him (caucasian flesh tones and chrome arm with eye detail.)
That Cable looks cool, you should do what I did with my Winter Soldier's arm, I bought a file and started filling to do the lines on his arm, then I painted it flat black and then gave it a washed with Silver. Hope this helps!!! AREZ OUT
Thats what I was going to do but it is more work then I really wanted to do right now. After shaving and sanding the arm I just wanted to paint it chrome and get it over with. Eventually I will do the grooves though.
Looks like you painted the "grooves" in his metal arm? Is it supposed to be like Colossus's or Deathlok's arm? What if you take a sharp knife and drag it around his arm so it slices it and makes that groove, then give it a wash of black to fill it in and then dry-brush the chrome on top? That's probably more complicated than it should be but anyway...
