Hello my fellow Realmers , today I welcome a new/old heroine to my Realm Universe , send by Zeus as his representative on Earth , from Olympus and as atonement for her mistakes that led to one of the greatest and most legendary wars in history , I present you the latest member of the agents of Gaia , Helen of Troy , also known as Helene of Sparta, was the daughter of Zeus and Leda, and was a sister of Castor, Pollux, and Clytemnestra. In Greek myths, she was considered to be the most beautiful woman in the world, a representation of ideal beauty. By marriage she was Queen of Laconia, a province within Homeric Greece, the wife of King Menelaus. Her abduction by Paris, Prince of Troy, brought about the Trojan War.

As with all legendary characters who inhabit the Age of Heroes, the legends ascribe divine ancestry to her: as being the daughter of Zeus, King of the Gods, and being hatched by her mother, Leda, from an egg.

At the time of her marriage, she is said to be still very young, and, as the most beautiful woman in the world, to have had many suitors (or lovers) before marrying Menelaus. Furthermore, the legends are ambiguous as to whether her subsequent involvement with Paris is abduction or seduction. Moreover, it is said that, previously, she has already been abducted by (or had eloped with) Theseus, and bore him a child.

The legends speak of a competition between her suitors, for her hand in marriage, in which Menelaus emerges victorious, and of the Oath sworn by all the unsuccessful suitors (known as the Oath of Tyndareus), which Menelaus subsequently invokes, requiring them to provide military assistance in her rescue; an Oath which accordingly culminates in the Trojan War.

The legends recounting Helen's fate in Troy are contradictory. The classical poet Homer, amongst others, depicts her as a wistful, even a sorrowful, figure, coming to regret her choice and wishing to be reunited with Menelaus; the depiction is of Helen, lonely and helpless, desperate to find sanctuary while Troy is on fire. On the other hand, there are contradictory accounts of a treacherous Helen, who simulates Bacchic rites and rejoices in the carnage.

Ultimately, Helen's choice was made for her by fate, as Paris was killed in action. Homer's account of her ultimate destiny reunites her with Menelaus, though other versions of the legend recount her ascending to Olympus instead.

A cult associated with her developed in Hellenistic Laconia, both at Sparta and elsewhere; at Therapne she shared a shrine with Menelaus. She was also worshipped in Attica, and on Rhodes. Helen and Menelaus were both worshiped as gods, not as heroes.

Inspired by the legends of her beauty, Classical, Medieval, Renaissance and modern painting and fine art contains many artistic representations of Helen, who is typically depicted as the personification of ideal beauty.

With such tragic and contradictory passionate life , it is unsure just what to expect from her , her heart has already led many to their graves and unending suffering , but this is a second chance given to her by her father (and Zeus godmother , Gaia as well!) , many see of Helene just her legendary beauty , but they forget she's Zeus daughter , therefore a demigod , and as such she shares some extraordinary powers and abilities with her progenitor and family (extra longevity and eternal beauty (a blessing by the lovely Venus) , super strength (like half brother Hercules) and advance combat training (by War god Ares) , a Mystical shield capable of blocking both physical and magical attacks and a Beserker sword that gets sharper with the blood of her enemies (a gift from her uncle Vulcan) , and lightning speed reflexes ( like Mercury) , but force to wear a mask in order to contain her last gift , the ability to charm and enslave any man just by her looks (like Zeus used to do with countless human women!) woven by the Olympian Queen Hera herself (she never lie Zeus extra-marital children) . she has a lot to prove for her past and a lot of weight as Olympus Last official representative on Earth.

Recipe is basically a New 52 Stargirl , with a New52 Starfire hair extension and shoulder plates as small chest pieces , and repainted in acrylic flesh tone , yellow , red and a bit of blue , some weapons and a belt/sash to complete the warrior look . Hope you like her and Thanks , later!

Thanks my brother! , coming from a fellow storyteller is a great compliment , you know these things sometimes come easy and others are a pain in the neck , Helen is always seen as a love thorn character , I wanted to show a different side of her , glad you approve this wild version of her!

I dig the costume & character!! Your colors are always nicely applied But I'd like 2 see u add some dark wash? IMO it would make the already dope colors *POP* but alas, that's only a suggestion, Manito.

Dude if I make anything else in her *POP* I will lose my "R" rating and will be banned from the site! , Okay ,I know the color looks plain and flat , texture didn't help (she's wearing a track suit , not really skin) and trying to match the skin tone of her face wasn't easy , and the one that came closer look pasty , also I haven't sealed yet (I had a very bad congestion and the spray is really toxic even with the mask , so all my last customs since late November are still un-sealed , so give her another chance , until I seal the paint , you know then it will be more glossy (wet) and the color will settle better , if not then is just my poor painting skills and techniques that I have to hone , I do appreciated the suggestion , just need more practice , Thanks my friend , will definitively mastered soon , until then the please bear with my crazy creations and crazier stories!
