The story so far: The Tin Woodsman sets out to the Emerald City, intent on exacting vengeance on the Great and Powerful Oz for his trickery. Seems that the heart he gave the Metallic Walking Woodmill was nothing but a cheap pocket watch that stopped working soon after giving it to the Tin Woodsman. Meanwhile, the Flying Hit Monkey---who was recently dispatched from the Flying Monkey Corp for selling his services as a hired assassin and other acts unbecoming of the FMC---fell with an unsavory group of individuals, all former members of the Lollipop Guild. One night, during their weekly ritual of imbibing illicit hootch and playing card games, one of the ex-Lollipop Guilders off-handedly comments that he overheard some old crones who practice black magic mention that eating the heart of a wizard empowers one with that wizards magic. Flying Hit Monkey heard all needed to and set out the Emerald City.............to be continued.......
Used my BAF Hit Monkey to create this version of one of the Wizard of Oz's more unusual creatures. Used Apoxie for the extra added fur on the arms and legs, painted Tamiya flat blue then gave it a sky grey wash. Used the jacket Hit Monkey came with and added some shoulder sleeves cut from a DC Raven cape. Used the hat cut from a DC Steppenwolf head and glued it on. Painted the design on his jacket and hat as best I could, used Tamiya flat blue, red and white. The wings are from a DC Hawkwoman figure and attached them to the jacket. Added weapons from the fodder bin. So I present to you the Flying Hit Monkey, a most foul creature indeed!
Haha! This Flying Monkey is another very creative and brilliant entry to go with your Tin Woodsman. Perfect base figure, and your design makes him very twisted indeed.
