This Captain America is my favorite--the old-school, Nazi fighting World War II Hero who takes that age of America with him when he goes into the deep freeze. It's really only a simple repaint, BUT it allowed me to try some painting techniques from some of you much better customizers out there, and I was extremely happy with the results!! Nice work. I did a few figures like this (Captain America, Rocketeer and Batman) as well a while back. (check out my figures under the name 'Porkchop'
I had some success with using a lighter wash of color on the figure to allow the black to show through a bit more. It seems to give it a more 'rugged' look. I also added a shield and helmet to complete the look on the ol' Captain.
