I've never really been happy with my Christopher Reeve Superman custom, which used the bulkier Alex Ross Superman figure as the base. I got my hands on a DC Direct Crisis on Infinite Earths Earth-2 Superman and thought it would work better. I used the New Krypton Superman head, which is modelled on Christopher Reeve. Sanded down the sleeve cuffs to remove the ridges. Made a new cape from craft pleather, with the S crest glued on the back. Repainted the skin tones. Thanks for looking!
This combination works very well. I agree that it's a more Christopher Reeve style body and suit compared to Alex Ross figure. And you even sanded the sleeves, now that's paying attention to small details that I would not have even noticed if you hadn't mentioned it. Great work!
