Well, since The Bridge Direct looks to be dropping off on doing figures for the Hobbit trilogy, I figured I'd have to finish the dwarves myself. I decided to start with Balin because 1) he's my favorite dwarf and 2) he had one of the most unique builds (apart from Bombur) of the 12 remaining dwarves. He's supposed to be much shorter than Thorin and he's a bit wider. So, I didn't want to just use a Thorin or Gimli figure. I picked up a WWE El Torito figure and use him. I use Tyrion's upper arms from the Game of Thrones line and used 3.75" Gandalf's arms from the Hobbit line. The head is a There and Back Again Bilbo.

This is the first of 12 dwarf customs to appear from me over the next several months, so this is going to be a major project and labor of love. Enjoy!!
