So, I took a normal Ponyta figure that I got from the flea market, and decided "Hey, wouldn't it be cool if there were a shiny version?" I started by Whiting out all of the fire with Tamiya Flat white. Next I mixed a few colors, Tamiya Gloss white, with Tamiya flesh, and a little hint of blue, and used that for the main body color. After painting the body, I painted the inner ears, then painted on the lighter colored flames, which is just a mix of Tamiya flat white, and Tamiya dark blue. Once that was done, I added the darker blue, which is actually Tamiya translucent blue, then painted the hooves grey. After all of this painting was done, I used a gloss sealer (Martha stewart brand) then finished it all up!
