Well this is my first time posting here, and one of my first customs. I've always wanted a good Jim Lee style Cyclops, and realized that if I was ever going to get one, I would have to make it. I was inspired after seeing Glenn Webb's Cyclops, and used the same recipe as his; A BAF Puck series Cyclops as the base, Wolverine hands from the Legends 2pack with Forge, belt from LCBH Stars, and then all the straps and hair was sculpted using milliput. This was my first time sculpting, and I am happy with the results. Definitely took some extra time learning how to work with milliput. I also sanded down all the plastic flashing, and had to sand down his forehead to get rid of the ridge that runs along the top of his noggin. After he was sculpted and ready to go, I painted him using Vallejo paints and Games Workshop shades. I don't like drybrushing figures and prefer to lay down a basecoat and then layer highlights with long brush strokes and shade recesses accurately instead of giving the entire body a wash. He took around 15 hours to complete, and all in all I think he turned out okay for my first custom here, comments welcome :)
