Hello,

First off--my apologies--my pals have been reminding me of all the work I HAVEN'T posted. I'm horrible with taking pictures--I really don't do it right, LOL. I'm very thankful for good friends and fellow customizers like Katoscustoms, Matt Hancock, Ole Jade Jaw, ChristinacXXX, Fast Freddie, Necrollector, and on and on, and by all the folks here on the realm, old and new who continuously inspire me with their work and efforts. I've tried to learn from all of you, and to assist with helping up-and-comers refine their techniques, without telling them what or how to do things. My real job has been super-busy, but I'll do my best to contribute -comments and customs. I love seeing all your work!

We now return to toys, already in progress...

So today I have a pet project: Dark Knight Returns Keaton. This dude's been sitting around for a proper photo for a while with many custom buddies, so here he is. The intent was keep it Keaton style, but at that evolved next level. I felt he could go to a gray and black suit at some point, as the grays and blacks would be better suited to urban-camo than just glossy black.

RECIPE:

He was a purple Keaton video game figure. Sculpted the arms to be bigger, the gauntlets, boots/shin guards, utility belt, and of course the bat-symbol on his chest. One thing I freely admit to NOT being good at is part-swapping--not in my wheelhouse--so getting that mask off to repaint the fast SUCKED, but I did it, LOL.

I did wire the cape as that is ALWAYS a priority for me. I know some of you don't like cloth capes, and that's cool, you'll come around someday, LOL. Just kidding guys.
