He imbued Alex with enormous power and unleashed him to rid the world of undead creatures. Filled with vengeance and unstoppable powers Alex had become the Reaper, Death's acolyte."

This is a figure of a character I've been designing for years now. I took darker comic heroes and horror films as inspiration when coming up with him. At it's basics it's a revenge themed character. He is essentially Death's bounty hunter, Death feels undead creatures are cheating him and chooses acolytes to carry out his dirty work (re-killing the undead). To aid him in this the Reaper is given great powers, immense strength/agility/endurance/resistance. Being dead himself he has no need to sleep or eat. He has an almost feral rage which reflects on his fighting style. He can fire force blasts (ectoplasm? necromancy? I haven't worked out the kinks yet all I know is it manifests as purple energy). I also thought of him being able to summon insects to use as a defence mechanism, covering his body to protect him and also being able to use them as a form of attack. His most obvious power is being able to kill the undead and send them packing back to Death himself (not the easiest of tasks).
His main driving force at the beginning is revenge, revenge for the murder of his family, Death grants him this chance however he slowly sees there was more to it than was first apparent. As he hunts down each enemy he learns more about his role in all of this, Death and many other things. It's all a bit clichéd but what can I say that's just how I envision this character. I hope to reveal more of his story as I make more customs based in this universe but hopefully this has give you all a good starting point.

The figure itself started out as a Bucky Cap (I love that base) I sculpted on the bandages and modified his boots. His outfit is hand sewn from some old jeans and the belt is out of my fodder box (I think it's from a threeA figure) He's painted up in citadel paints and that is pretty much it. Hope you guys like him, comments and criticism welcome! Also any tips/advice/thoughts on the backstory would also be really appreciated. Peace.
