Wildcat (DC Infinite Heroes) Custom Action Figure
Wildcat debuted in Sensation Comics #1 (January 1942), in the same issue as the debuts of Wonder Woman and Mister Terrific. Wildcat was co-created by Bill Finger, who also co-created Batman and the Golden Age Green Lantern. He was based on what later became known as Earth-2. Ted Grant was a heavyweight champion boxer who was wrongfully accused of fixing a fight using a dose of poison which ultimately killed his opponent. Since he was both wanted and very recognizable due to his fame, he adopted the masked identity of Wildcat to pursue the real culprits and clear his name. No longer a fugitive, he retained the identity to help fight crime after his name was cleared. He later became a member of the Justice Society of America. The head is custom cast from Angry Nomad, and is a 3.75" scale shrink from the original 6 inch scale. The body is MU Black Panther (the TRU light-up base version) with Nova lower legs to give the rocker ankles. Please wait... |
