Gambit is the best and a big reason why I got into customizing figures. With a lot of great Gambits here on the realm my standard "modern" Gambit just doesn't seem like enough, so here is one I tweaked to go with my 90's "Jim Lee" X-men. This figure is essentially the same as my other Gambit, but he needed 90's hair and paint scheme. The WO Gambit's hair just doesn't cut it so, I had to make my own! I started with the WO head, first I buzzed that ugly doo off and replaced it with a pvc figure's hair and a little hot glue. I also added some ears and buzzed down a lot of plastic off the back of his head. I did the same lower leg swap as before but this time added WO Iceman feet to hide the inevitable paint rub at the ankle. Also added some length to arms at the sleeves and used a set of Union Jack hands. The collar came from a piece of Hawkeye's I cut down an bit. Staff came from a. 2pk Gambit and the card was tooled from a MS Gambit and hot glue. A little paint and some dullcoat finished this classic colored Cajun out. Now Ol' Remy stands taller than Wolvie and a hair taller than Rogue and has that 90's look the base figure was lacking. Thanks! For viewing i'll catch ya next time.
