For my tenth custom I decided on everyone's favorite psychiatrist, Dr. Peter Silberman. I chose to make his likeness from terminator 2. I will no doubt make his character from Terminator 1 and 3 in the future.
I started with a Mr. Lindeman body from the TV show Heroes. I didn't have to do much in terms of sculpting to it, just a complete paint job. I am quite pleased the way the tweed jacket came out. I just kept on dabbing on the paint with a dry brush until I was happy with the look. For the head, I went with a Captain Picard figure from the movie Nemesis. As a Star Trek fan I though it fun to use a character from the series. I just had to sculpt on the hair and give it a paint job. I also made his ID tag and added a shoulder bag from my fodder bin, thought it was fitting to the character.
Sweet, it's a pretty good likeness. The tweed came out great. So good in fact that a suit body I was fretting attempting doing a plaid pattern on might now become a tweed jacket!
Well my fave psychiatrist is probably Frasier Crane but this is great too. Always like it when customisers make other notable characters from films and TV shows the big companies don't deem worth the trouble.
