If you’ve read my review of Hasbro’s new Marvel Legends Infinite Series Odin wave, you’ll know that I really liked this wave, specifically because of the Odin/King Thor BAF. However, aside from the head I felt like they looked a bit too similar. So I decided to give the two some upgrades! Here I’ve taken the King Thor BAF figure and made him battle ready! I’ve added the helmet he wears in the Arron/Ribic run, shortened his skirt, and gave him a highly detailed new paint job, from armor to cape to sword! Now his enemies will be blinded by the his armor right before he hurls Mjolnir at their heads!
King Thor is all BAF with the helmet from Thor. Finished with a highly detailed metallic paint job. Enjoy!
AC you always manage to absolutely nail those metallic shades. Old man Thor looks straight out of the fight with Gorr's minion, and his armour looks like it's made out of shiny plate steel (or probably some super-strong Uru), really impressive stuff!
AC, this King Thor is looking grand. If I may, I suggest that you go for the trifecta and add a Prince Thor and you'll have yourself a killer set from the God Butcher run.
