Hands down, my favorite Cyclops design. He's had some decent ones over the years, but, to me, none have been as awesome as his Age of Apocalypse look. I also liked him being more of a villain. He did turn heroic later, but still. Fights with Wolverine over the years had always been mild scraps, but in the Age of Apocalypse, they walked away with actual scars. Wolverine lost his hand, and Cyclops lost an eye. For fixing him up, I sculpted up the chest strap, and additions to his arm. Swapped out the belt for Infinite Heroes Batman, and gave him a full repaint. Then, I moved to the head. Started with Punisher for the proper expression, then sculpted up the eyepiece and mic. After that, I decided to try something a little different for the hair. I usually just sculpt and shape, but that hasn't always gone well. So, instead, I decided to try strand by strand so it would actually look more like hair. Honestly? Came out better than I thought it would. Did it in two layers, trying to make it look a little more natural. Overall, I'm happy with the final outcome, and really glad to finally have him finished up.
