Back when Spiderman first joined the New Avengers, their first endeavor was against a few genetically engineered Hydra soldiers known as the Hydra Four. Though, technically, there's at least six of them. If you have half a dozen scientifically created superhumans at your disposal, and you're going against the Avengers, wouldn't you release them all? Nope, "Open pods 1-4!" Fire that man. He's bad at his job. Anyway, these guys were made as counterparts to specific Avengers, and since I like dark variations of characters, I decided to give them a shot. And I've always considered updating the old Hawkeye release, so this was a nice first step to see how that looked. Genetically modified to be a marksman and given numerous trick arrows, Hydra gave their variation to Hawkeye the name Bowman. Because their naming division needs to be fired, too. Head, quiver, and bow all came from Dark Hawkeye. I sculpted up the emblem on his chest, then endeavored into a full repaint. This was also great to help give me some more practice making the Hydra emblem. And this one has certainly made me consider looking into decals. lol
