HEY! Been awhile since I was able to post something new...my family recently moved and it's been very hectic getting back into a routine and I have a TON of commissions to catch up on including figures from the 80's movie The Last Dragon, another Christopher Reeve, and a Rankin Bass Goblin King. All of those are very close to being finished, but I was able to finish this one today as he was about 98% completed anyway and I need to sell him! Actually started this one way back when I did my last Batfleck figure.
So here we have a MM Zod figure as a base. The entire costume is sculpted over the top and then I added a belt from a Winter Soldier Cap figure since I felt it was a good match. I went with a black belt again, but will change it to a burnished gold if the buyer wants it so. Topped it off with a DCC Batman head from the Casting Cave and completed it with a pleather cape.
Hope you guys like! Thanks, as always, for looking!
Thanks Bud - But hey, this is a fun hobby to take part in. I'd suggest you make your own. There are lots of great tips and most of the guys around here (myself included) will be glad to share tips and secrets to the trade!
jake1 - while I'd certainly love to be able to take on all the projects I'm approached with (and this one is intriguing), $35-$40 barely covers the base figure and supplies. I have to order base figures as I don't keep them in stock. I also use Aves Apoxie Sculpt and relatively expensive paints. Then there is shipping costs. If I were to make such a figure, it would take several hours of sculptwork and then painting. At the end of it all, I'd likely spend $20-$25 on supplies alone and then another $5-$7 on shipping, so that'd cost me about $25-$32, and I just can't do all that work and make only $15 max. Not to be rude, but it's essentially asking me to make it for free. All my repeat customers pay for high quality work and appreciate the time and effort that goes into making these customs. So, I'm terribly sorry, but I don't have the amount of time it would take to do this figure justice when I have several other customers who are counting on me to keep costs low and quality high all the while getting their orders to them in a timely manner. hope you understand where I'm coming from.

Thanks Bro! It really isn't that bad. I do a section at a time and use a very fine needle to do all the line work. In fact, that needle is my primary sculpting tool. Helps with lines and wrinkles. If it makes ya feel any better, I spent several months on and off working on this one. I actually started it BEFORE my other Dawn of Justice Batfleck. That one was posted July 28, 2014, so I probably started this one toward the end of May or early June...whenever the first pic of the suit was revealed.
