When you spread your name out in enough directions you notice a trend among specific places. Some certain cites garner comic character requests, others bring movie characters, and sometimes you get requests that are a little bit different. I like these because they tend to really make me think, and they prove to be nice challenges. This one was a bit simpler, but still a ton of fun. Wasn't given any specific instructions, so I just went by a few different images I found through Google. Started with an Xavier body, cut off the tie, and sculpted up his collar piece. Don't know the name. The repaint of the suit was super simple, and came out looking fantastic. And I ended up not having time to be stuck on the head. I did a quick search through one drawer and found one that was a perfect match for one of the images I was going by. I really wanted to sculpt up the mask, so it would be raised on the face, but that was proving to be more trouble than it was worth. So, instead, I just painted it on and that ended up being a fantastic fit. Fun project, and very happy with the final product.
I've debated that a little bit, but never did take the plunge. I made a Wolfman that I hope to redo. Would love to try a full Universal set for Halloween this year. Maybe by then I can find that old Creature kit. Definitely can't resist some vampire customs.
