I'm huge fan of Hawkman. Really like the original Carter Hall. But when in the late 80's Truman introduced his version of Hawkman from the Hawkworld mini-series I was blown away from the script to the art and Katar's new origin!! I really liked it. What I never liked was the messed that followed it when DC tried to include him in their universe , creating the Hawkman havoc effect. John's was the only one who kinda fixed something, but was not the best. Still, this military version of the Hawkmen was cool & finally I made one for myself!!
