You know what us custom figure guys have that other people don't? Foresight. We possess the ability to look at something and see what it could be. The minute I saw the new variant Beast figure I knew it was gonna become my Dark Beast! Okay,okay I know this is yet another "low impact" custom. But who says customizing has to be hard? As long as the outcome is what was envisioned, who cares how hard it was to make? Either way he came out super clean and looks pretty darn good.

Here's how it was done. Obviously I started with the grey variant Beast figure. At first I thought I could just switch out the legs for different ones. This was not the case, the t-bar has really big ball joints so I ended up having to crack the figure in half to get it out. Actually it was easier done then said, thanks to Hasbro's crappy new designs. After that I installed a new t-bar from a Colossus and upper/lower thighs, knees from the same Colossus. Lower legs and feet are stock Beast ones. Paint, plus washes and dullcote equal one sadistic and deranged Hank McCoy. Thanks for checking. Sushi out...
