Sushi back with another one of my favorite baddies! This time it's the all powerful Exodus! I always thought this guy was cool because, not even a whole team of X-Men can take him out. His powers and abilities list goes on and on not to mention he has a cool aesthetic design. Speaking of which I could have gone with his original costume, but after google image searching the character for about a week I decided on one I liked and one that had not been done a lot by other customizers. It's not exactly comic accurate, but it's pretty close.
I started with MU Nova figure swapped the head for a movie Loki head. Second I removed all of the armor so I had a plain fig. Swapped out the legs for Kang legs, and added Doom's cape. Adam Warlock wrist bracers, ionic Wonder Man hands. Paint was pretty simple a dash here some dullcote there. His energy effect was pulled from a movie Ultron fig and repainted. The base is from an Iron Man pvc and clear plastic styrene. You can't see it but there is a notch I formed in the cape so he slides onto the stand easy without interfering with the paint job. All said and done the hardest part was keeping my hand steady while painting his face tats!
He came out good better than I had imagined and his finish is consistent with the other non customized MU figures around him on the shelf. Now nothing can stand in his way to carrying out Magneto's dream!! Maybe not even Magneto himself?!!
