After seeing the new Avengers movie, I got the kick to do another one of my Marvel themed statues, in this case, I decided to go with a Thor theme.

Pretty straightforward in design-a dirty, damaged Mjolnir lies in the dirt after some huge battle.

Fairly easy to make as well, I used a kids Thor hammer, cut out a wooden base (sanded the edges), attached the hammer then built up the base around it with wood filler.

Once it dried, I sanded it a bit, painted it, hit it with a few washes and dry brushes and then sealed it to keep it looking pretty.
