I remember back in the 90's watching Ninja scroll for the first time. I was quite surprised by the level violence of the movie even though I've watched animes with dark tone before. Most disturbing scenes in the movie were involving this guy, Tessai. At first I was terrified watching Tessai in action but once he was out of the picture I actually missed him.
