Ok, so, a while ago I posted an X-Men Evolution style Gambit, noting it as a request gone wrong. I got designs mixed up. I was actually supposed to be making this guy. And I was actually really glad it came up as I do really like Gambit's design from the short lived Wolverine & The X-Men. Seriously, I was desperately looking forward to a season two featuring Age of Apocalypse. But, all the good ones get canceled. Not a regular member of the team, he did end up making a couple of cool special appearances that I happily rewatched while working on him. For fixing him up, I added some sculpt to his upper legs, knees, upper and lower torso, added the belt, and then the sleeves. Also removed the hair from the Wolverine Origins Gambit head, then sculpted up a new batch for him. The jacket was an old, solid cast from Vortious that I was able to cut the belt off of, and sculpt the shoulder pieces onto. Cut the chest strap from a Storm Shadow quiver, and topped him off with a metal piece I had for a staff. Whew. I think the only thing I missed was that red bit on his upper leg, but I might end up getting that added. Overall, I'm very happy with him, and it's one of the only times I can ever remember actually wanting to work on a few other X-Men characters.
