Next up is Boba Fett, the greatest bounty hunter in the Galaxy. For this guy, I built a Zaku I and gave it some battle damage. I scratched the kit up with a knife file and some nails and used a Dremmel to put the dent in his helmet. I decided to give the figure a camo paint job for some reason, so I gave him a coat of Krylon camouflage tan spray paint. I then masked off the sleeves, leg joints, and other spots for the pattern and sprayed him with Krylon camouflage light green. I sprayed the bottoms of his legs with Krylon silver, then misted the kit lightly with the silver. His right shoulder and gauntlets were hand painted with a mix of Vallejo bloody red and black brown, then flat coated. The red around his eyes and the skull on his shoulder were painted with Polly Scale red. For the jetpack, I took the jetpack from the kit and glued part of a bazooka to the top to make the anti-tank missile Boba Fett has. I then painted it green and silver with the same spray paints I used for his body. After that, I weathered the figure using Tamiya smoke and Testors wethering markers with some scratches detailed with silver sharpie. I modified his short gun from a machine gun (the same as the stormtrooper's) by cutting off the front. The same process of removing the front was used for his long rifle. The heat axes were painted with Model Masters gunmetal and the blades were done with a gold gundam marker. The short gun and mine were painted entirely with gunmetal, while the long rifle was done partly in gunmetal and partly in black brown. I applied several stickers from the kit to the figure. The stripes on his skirts, as well as his rifle scope, his eye (practically invisible in the pictures), the warnings on his backpack, and the tiny Zeon logo on his chest were all stickers. Hope you enjoy!!
