It would of took to long to get him to the Medical center,Romulus know that if surgery wasn't done immediately he would die.Never have do this before but read about it over a thousand time Romulus felt confident that he could save Julius live. He asked the guest to clear the table and put Julius on the table. Then Romulus gather up everything he would need to do the surgery. Two hours later Romulus was done.They took Julius to the Medical center so that the doctors there could examiner him. The doctor walked out into the waiting room and asked who perform the surgery on Julius. Young Romulus step forward and said I did sir.The Doctor looked down at Romulus and said for someone who didn't have the right instruments and the cruel cutting of the flesh you did a remarkable job of removing the apex and saving Julius live and is doing fine he should be up and moving a round in a few days.And Romulus you did an excellent job. I hate to admit it even better then me. After the ceremony dinner he left the hall to go and see if his parents was alright. When he got to his neighborhood he could see destroyed houses torn streets as if a battle went on. He race to hi parents house it was destroyed he searched for them thru the rubble. Screaming their names out. A neighbor heard him and came a running. Grabbing Romulus and hoping him tight and saying I'm sorry I'm very sorry they had wanted to be there for you. Romulus asking what happen what happen. Philo explain that a pirate ship was fleeing from the Green Lantern of their sector.The Green Lantern shot the engine out on the pirate ship causing the ship to crash land near the neighborhood. The surviving pirates ran into the neighborhood for shelter and protection. The all out war broke out between the pirates and the Green Lantern. The Green Lantern held his grounds until there was only one pirate left.The Green Lantern was badly wounded and his ring was running low on energy.The pirate turned his cannon on on a group of people and a last attempt to save his life.The green Lantern tried to reason with the pirate but the pirate wasn't hearing anything he had to say. The pirate pushed the button on the cannon and fled.The Green Lantern had to make a quick decision, seeing how the first couple was old(Romulus parents)and had a full life and the other couple was young and with two younglings used his last bit of energy from his rings to push and protect them from the blast and leaving Romulus parents to die. After hearing this this enraged Romulus to him all life was precious and you do whatever you can to save and preserve it.Philo told Romulus that since the Green Lantern ring ran out of energy that he was at the local medical center getting seen about.He rushed down to the medical center to see this green lantern when he got there he told the Green Lantern that he was friends with the couple that he saved and he would like to attend to his wounds.All the staff at the medical told the Green Lantern that he was in good hands that Doctor Romulus Ulysses Ensane was the best physician you can find.Romulus took the Green Lantern into the examining room.While there Romulus was talking to the Green Lantern about his life how he became a Green Lantern.As they went on talking Romulus asked about the the old couple that he didn't save and why.Green Lantern explain to him about the split decision he had to make and it how it grieves his heart about situation. But it's the kind of chooses he has to make from time to time and live with it.Dr Romulus said that he understood it's the same with him everyday he has to save lives and he do everything within his power to do it. He got the Green Lantern off the table and ask how he felt. He replied great they are right you are great you do have healing hands.Romulus replied thank you it's what I do. But there is one more thing you need to know before you go. That old couple that you let perish was my parents they was on they way to attend my ceremony I receive the award of Vediovis today. The Green Lantern replied I'm sorry to hear that.Romulus said it's ok they was just my loving parents you did your best that's all that counts. Then Romulus reach half way down the Green Lantern side and press. The Green Lantern start gasping for air his heart start beating faster.Doctor R.U. Ensane look at the Green Lantern with an sinister smile and say there is one great thing about been a renown physician you learn everything about the anatomy of every species how to keep them alive and hoe to kill them so that it would look like a normal death.I do not feel any grieve in my heart for doing this.You are my 1st Green Lantern who life I will take today but rest assure that you will not be the last.Many of your corps members will join you in the afterlife by my hands.And when you reach the afterlife tell my parents that I love them and you are sorry for what you have created.The Romulus walk out of the examining room and told the staff that he mended the green Lantern wounds but he went into shock and died his heart couldn't handle the stress of his job.That day Doctor R.U. Ensane sold everything he had brought a spaceship and told everyone that he was going off to save lives through out the universe.But in actuality he was going out to kill Green Lanterns. He had an emergency frequency receiver that would pick up any call for help. To make money Romulus would this do Doctor work but when his receiver goes off about a Green Lantern is injure or a battle is going on that involve Green lanterns Romulus is on his way.He offer help the Green Lantern but ends up torture them.It's was doing the war of lights when Romulus receive his Sinestro ring.Many Green Lanterns went into his operation room but none survive.Words spread thru the corps about this doctor death aka the angel of death. Now with his Sinestro ring he can travel at lighting speed to find Green Lanterns to kill.So when Sinestro ask him to help Professor Insidd to make the perfect weapon to annihilate the Green Lantern Corps.They clone Troglodyte from Kryptonians DNA.Not a perfect success but they are on the right track. Now with the new member known only as the Engineer.The trio know that they will exceed.
