Blue Wizard sculpture hand-sculpted ( over an armature of tin-foil) from LaDoll Premix Stone Clay Air-dry Clay by YokaiJohn.Hand-painted with acrylic paints and sealant by YokaiJohn. Figurine stands 7 1/4 inches high when measured from his topknot to his large heeled Geta Sandals(7 3/4 wearing hat) and 6 1/2 inches leaving out topknot and Geta Sandals.Staff measures 8 3/4 inches. Inspired by Tolkien`s later writtings on the subject of the Blue Wizards.
Thanks,my take on them is inspired by what Tolkien wrote in Return of The King about there being some resistance to Sauron in the Far East and South and his middle notes on the Blue Wizards(where he said one blue Wizard went to the South,which I take as being Alatar because he was the senior of the too so like Saruman left the Far East,although I think perhaps he might have just moved South East) and his later notes on the Blue Istari,where he said that the two were actually very successful in there theater of operations and stayed true to there mission(just like Gandalf in the North West).
