thanks guys! sorry I have to update my recipe list. The head is from my first wolverine custom. The ugly one I made a few years back. its also posted here. basically I sculpted over the decapitated customized head. before it used to be a custom repaint of the toybiz X-MEN 1 MOVIE wolverine figure,
Dr Nightmare-- this is definitely the funniest comment and compliment I've ever received. lol! thank you so much! bwahahahahahahaha!!!
SmeDavinci-- thanks! Flesh tones? ill be posting a tutorial soon. Though, admittedly the flesh on this one isn't as complexed as my other works. he's still 3 layers shy of getting the desired look
great work! question though, how do you paint fleshtones??? I can paint anything else but getting human flesh is such a pain...any recomendations??? thx
Dayum I think I speak for everyone when I say we all want a big short sexy mother funker like that strutting around the house, drinking our beer, swooning our women, setting fire to the curtains with his sandpaper stubble, punching out the mailman just by flexing his pecs
My goodness.... what's left to say about this phenomenal custom...? No better way to display your abilities with bringing realism and comic buffness to our favorite heroes!
I do wonder though, how did you go about widening his chest when this mold has that "butterfly" shoulder joint that makes up his chest width? And did you still retain that articulation even with your sculpting over?
I'm really happy and very thankful that I did something right again. Thank you all for appreciating my version of Weapon -X. Its been one of those Works-in-progress that has been in my work area for like... forever.
This is something I made for myself before finishing Luke Cage, Odinson, Ares ver2, and a co-designed Batman.
Much better. I never got that sculpt? Cause all the art was very bulky and Ramos-esque. Mig limbs, huge boots, and part squant China and body noses. Ie, you my good sir. NAILED IT!
Sorry, I forget sometimes we are a international board. The original weapon x figure never looked right. It did not resume me the art work in the age of apocolyps books. Your figure is a more perfect representation of the artists work!
Great work Pare.... this Wolverine is worthy of being mass produced. The scupt work, paints, and over all craftsmanship are stellar. I may have to replicate this for my collection!!
thanks so much guys! with respect to the toy biz figure, I didn't alter the height. They got the proportions right. Logan, after all, is only 5'3". just beefed him up bit, sculpted clothes, and altered the x-men movie head (first movie)
The figures contained in the Custom Showcase are not for sale by Figure Realm, and the creators of the customs are no way affiliated with Figure Realm. The Custom Showcase is purely for entertainment purposes and only provides a means for the creators to show off their work and trade ideas. Figure Realm does not make or sell customs.
Also, where did the head come from, or is that a scupt?

Thanks bro!
And Thank you admins for approving the updated pics
this. I would definitely have this in my collection.
Impressive, and great job!
