When I was a kid, my brother shared some of his 2000 AD comics with me. He was really into Judge Dredd, and particularly the Dark Judges, so I sort of absorbed that interest from him. After the movie Dredd came out a few years ago, I felt that interest in the Judge Dredd comics sort of get rekindled, and found myself wishing that figures of my favorite 2000 AD characters existed. Judge Anderson here is made from a movie Black Widow figure, with a head from the new Hasbro Wasp figure. Her shoulder pads and pistol come from the ReAction Anderson figure. Her belt, holster, and knife were assembled from different accessories of other figures. I don't know if Anderson has ever been shown with hair this short, but I had to make a decision between accuracy or avoiding constant paint rub. Besides, I took a lot of other liberties with her look, so I don't mind the short hair. I sort of rationalized her uniform being different from Dredd's because she's in the Psi Division and Dredd is a street Judge. Psi Division is kind of like the forensics or CSI, so her uniform should be cleaner and brighter since she isn't constantly in the midst of the action. I also reasoned that her gloves should be fingerless, since she's been shown to need to touch something in order to psychically interact with it. Anyway, here she is. Psi Division Judge Cassandra Anderson! Please wait... |
