This custom is made from fodder consisting of Emperor Palpatine's hood, Darth Vader's hands and a training gear Darth Maul Body covered in tatty robes taken from various Sith figures. I did have a flail for the Witch-King, but it has since been taken for another custom, but it was made from ninja turtle parts. The helmet is just sculpted from toothpicks and plastic sheets and the horse is taken from an old Knights Castle toy I had as a child, repainted from being gold and shinny to black and with red/brown eyes and blood on the hooves. The main point of this figure is that it is a Nazgul or Ringwraith to fit in with the Hobbit line of 3.75 (3 3/4 inch) figures by the Bridge Direct. It stands a little taller than Gandalf. I took Palpatine's hood and outer robe off and replaced it with a cloth one as it was too bulky, but for the Nazgul it is the right size and so I stuck it on a headless body of Darth Maul and robed it. It's scabard/ sheath is made from Palpatine (ROTS) figure when he has been kidnapped at the begining of Episode III and made a nice patterened aged material look. His boots and gloves were repainted silver and I think this works well as a custom. I am not making anymore 3.75 inch customs for Middle Earth as I prefer the 6inch scale ones, but for a time this scale was nice and fun, but still this Ringwraith has a place amongst my Hobbit collection.
The pictures on this one are a little grainy but I can still tell you did a solid job on the Witchking Helmet. Mainly you don't see many LOTR Customs on this site. Which is fine, cause it just makes it more fun to view the ones that are posted! "Gimli: Toss me. Aragorn: What? Gimli: I cannot jump the distance, you'll have to toss me. Gimli: [pauses, looks up at Aragorn] Gimli: Don't tell the Elf."
