I wanted helmets for my Uruk-hai scouts as they look pretty bear without them, but I didn't want them permanatly attached. People have suggested using tape, but I used Cling Film to cover the head then used Miliput to sculpt the helmet. Then I took fake leather straps from an old dressing up cowboy belt and some parts from the Uruk-hai Beserker Kilt were used. Painted The helmets dark silver, dark brown and a lighter brown to get the effect and voila. I also made the Uruk axe as I lvoe that scene where Borromir rescues the Hobbits but dies trying and literally grabs the axe as the Uruk strikes. You know when you buy warhammer the plastic figure parts are in a plastic stensil I guess, I took one of those from a stensil which had Guns in kept two prongs and shaved the rest. Took a bit of plastic sheet, cut it into the right shape and glued it on the prongs. THe rest was Miliput sculpting and painting. I think it works well, one of the helmets was a bit bulkier, but it's fine for what I wanted it for and had me a little photoshoot in the Garden.
