Back when I first started customizing, numerous characters made it to my list. Interestingly enough, it took me years to get to some of them. When I heard we were getting an official Thunderstrike, I groaned a bit since this meant I had no reason to finish mine. So, I put him aside and forgot about him. Interest in making him is actually where my recent Bloodaxe custom came from. I figured I'd move on to Thunderstrike's Bloodaxe form, but then I got to see the official figure. Nah, I'm good. I realized I can still finish him with no worries. That's also why I didn't sweat any of the official announcements at SDCC. Some might be good, most won't. Sculpted up the boots, and orbs on his chest. Head, jacket, and hammer were all casts from Vortious. The hammer might actually be from HunterArtworks. They both have it, and I think there's a slight difference between them. Can't remember. Sanded down the Cap belt since I couldn't think of anything else, and topped him off with bracelets from Thor. Little tedious, but not too bad once I was able to get my hands on a decent head. Hopefully I can get to his other design sometime soon.
