I had planned to make a Nightwing out of a Superior Spider-Man base using a DCUC Nightwing head but when I stuck it on, I realised it was oversized, so I left this on the work bench for a while. I arrived at the solution of using an Injustice Green Lantern head, with sculpt added on to the mask and the whole head repainted. Sculpted the logo and the stripes along his arms. The escrima sticks come from an ML Hellcat. Thanks for looking!
Thanks Matt! I really don't like that shoulder joint configuration but I think the lean build of the figure does give it potential for a variety of characters.
Thank you Redwolf! I've gotten way fewer comments than I used to before the Figurerealm site redesign so I sincerely appreciate your comments on my pieces!
I agree with both of you. Red Wolf is right, this is a very cool Nightwing. And Jedd is right, it is a shame, but the number of folks leaving comments on this site has decreased significantly in the last 2-4 weeks. Kind of a bummer.
Thanks for chiming in newcollector and appreciate the kind words about the custom. Re the side effect of the site redesign, it really is a shame that the visibility of submissions has been affected so much.
It is taking some getting use to on the new site design. I believe one of the factors of declining Comments is the current loss of the ability to Follow other Customizers. I try to look at as many new customs as time permits me but it was easier to keep up with Customizers Works like yours that I followed. I heard that they are intending to bring back the Following Feature and that all the Customizers we followed was saved.
To be honest, I actually started to notice the decline in comments before the site re-design. Other than the inability to follow customizers (as RW pointed out), I think the site is almost back to how it was pre-site redesign. I wonder if folks aren't as interested in the hobby anymore, or if Facebook has started to eat into this site's traffic.
The figures contained in the Custom Showcase are not for sale by Figure Realm, and the creators of the customs are no way affiliated with Figure Realm. The Custom Showcase is purely for entertainment purposes and only provides a means for the creators to show off their work and trade ideas. Figure Realm does not make or sell customs.
