WoW! Looks like it's the week of the Jared Leto Jokers! Saw two others just this morning and they're great.

I figured we'd start seeing lots of these and Margot Robbie Harleys soon (yeah, I'm working on that too!) so I tried to bring a little something different. Rather than making him with a stoic expression, I went for the enraged Joker. In hindsight, I wish I'd gone for the crazy smiling expression, but in the end I'm happy with the way he turned out.

Started with an ML Iron Fist solely for the white joints. From there I sculpted him some skinny pants. The purple on them is a lot lighter than the pics show. They ARE a darker purple, but they're certainly not black. The tattoos were a challenge, mainly because the reference pics are tough to follow in some places, BUT I did manage to find a picture of Harley tattooing his back so I was definitely going to give him those tats as well. Obviously the tattoos took the longest to complete. The purple gloves came from a ML Machine Man figure and I wanted them to look different from one another so I added a black cuff on the right one. May not be totally screen accurate, but hey, my customer was happy with it. In terms of sculpt, I sculpted the mouth with teeth (Including the metal on the teeth which doesn't show up well in the pics), the hair, and the pants. He also needed some ears so I grafter the ears from a Sentry figure onto his head with glue and sculpt. Oh yeah, also added the chain to give the suggestion of a chain wallet.

Thanks for looking! ----- I'll just go ahead and tell ya's that my next custom I post will be a Movie Masters Ben Affleck Batman (yes, another one), but this time, I took the Comic Con Mattel figure and did right by him by fixing his eyes and sculpting all the musculature and texture. I hope to have him finished by this afternoon.
