So I had done this version of Jor El before where I took fabric and with a ruler striped te fabric over and over and over again with a sharpie. This time I'm super happy to show off a new skill I've brought to my craft... Printed fabric... That's right. Printed... M@&$€£¥%'n... Fabric. Something I began tinkering with this week... And just you wait. It's about to get crazy :) This robe was drawn in Adobe illustrator to scale over a photo of the figure, printed on red fabric and then fitted to figure permanently with hot glue. Modifications to figure include swapping out arms and lower legs with a MOS Superman figure for the correct look. As well the wrist cuffs became a point where I separated the lower arm and on a sprue, re-assembled the arm with the fabric sandwiched inbetween. It's hard to explain but if you've examined the costume before, you know what I'm talking about... Finally I finished him off with a nice dark brown cape. He is now ready to defy council. ![]() |
