This is now V3 of the Jor El in council robes. I have returned with the same general tactics on this version but opting for a darker cloth which better blends with the dark brown cape once everything comes together.

The robe itself is printed fabric as before as well as the sleeves which are spliced into the forearms at the wrist cuffs.

The remaining exposed armor has been given a dry brushing with gold to bring up highlights.

@TheXtremisT: I've never used nail polish on... anything... I guess I could look into that. Thanks for the tip. as long as it comes in a matte finish I suppose I'd be good to go. Very cool.

Thanks Bud! Yeah the printed fabric is certainly a revolutionary idea in this hobby! You should do a Batfleck suit with the design printed onto it. I saw on a guy On the SuperHeroHype website who had one made, but full size to fit his actual body, and it looked really good!

They are tighter for sure. These were built with added lenght to the sleeves to they don't stretch when assembled. You can't tell as much in the photo but when the fabric is stretched over the shoulder armor it frays like hell on the edges. BUT... with this new assembly method I believe that may be a thing of the past.

Cool man. Hope to see some more movie masters stuff from you in the future. By the way, do you use clear nail polish to prevent fraying? It's not perfect but can help a good deal.
