Designed this Arkham Origins Batman for a friend. I get a lot of requests for Batman in this scale, but honestly.... I love it! I add something different and learn a new technique each time. This Batman was requested to resemble as close as possible to the video game version. I used a ton of parts from the DC Multiverse Batman: his head, chest, gauntlets, abs, and boot covers. I hollowed out all of the body parts, and shaved them down to be extra thin. For his gloves over the iron man base, and his boots. Added shoulder joints from the Mattell figure, took them apart and smoothed the inside for a more fluid motion, the added Iron Man arm swivel joints to connect the MU style arms. I shaved out the inside ab joint so he could bend further. I created articulation at the ankle using Arkham Knight boots. I sculpted part of his abs, all of his thigh pads, and everywhere else that needed smoothing out. The cape is custom made, and can rotate from front to back. I also made a hologram out of plastic that pops up from his left arm. Then I painted him head to toe.
