I've seen a few uses for Jace in recent weeks/months. He's a cool looking figure and he happened to be in the clearance section at my local Target. I was contemplating making a Loki but hadn't put real thought into it until I came across this guy.

I removed the hood and hair, sanded him down the best I could (his clothes are made of a weird soft plastic, so there wasn't much sanding going on for his shirt and skirt thing.) then removed some of the excess costume stuff he had. I painted him using acrylics and let him dry for what would normally be a few hours... but ended up being a few weeks due to life getting in the way. I used a giant brown pipe cleaner for the boots and frill on the cape, then a wash cloth for the rest of the cape. His helmet was crafted using the Odin BAF's helmet and the horns off a $3 cow figure (I felt oddly guilty cutting the horns off the cow... as if I was an ivory dealer or something) and the staff is also from the Odin BAF set. Now the Avengers have their first villain to contend with, the god of mischief himself, Loki.
