The Marvel Legends Black Panther is a shockingly expensive figure on eBay and Amazon. I have no idea why since he's an incredibly basic figure... but whatever. I wanted one, but didn't want to shell out $80+ so I bought a Baltroc and spray painted him black. The head I bought off eBay (I'm sorry, I forget who casted it, but they did a phenomenal job) and... that's it. Some sanding, some paint mixing, nothing too fancy, but there you have it. Black Panther is based off his EMH look and design and I'm quite proud to have him on the team.
Way to go. I do not blame you at all! I found one, clearly out of place, at a meijer store by the winter soldier series. $20. But that was two years ago and I wasn't really a fan of him. So I auctioned him off. Not worth $60+ unless you are a completionist. Your custom is awesome!

Everyone do yourself a favor and buy cans of VHT Vinyl Dye, that way you can buy all those really cheap basic figures like Batroc for like 7 bucks and spray them whatever color you need.
I found Bucky caps on Amazon for like $9 each a few weeks ago. It was like Christmas. Baltroc is already serving as a base for an electro I'm working on currently and the bucky bases are for future projects. There's so many head casts out there too, I feel like a kid in a candy store!
I can't take credit for either, just for painting them. I wonder if ML will ever offer a mail away for just the generic body in whatever colors you want. Blue, Green, yellow, etc. I'd love a white version of the Baltroc/Panther body, for customizing sake.
