I had tried the twisty tie routh after seeing your Feral Wolvie dude but unles it's because I'm using Aves, they just wouldn't accept the clay all round without being too thick. Gonna wok on painted glue gun over tisties tonight to see if that will work. Cheers though!

I like how you did your version. Here's a suggestion I got for how to do the claws. I haven't had the chance to try it cause I'm working on something eose right now, but maybe you'll be able to do something with it. Thanks to rpetras for giving me the suggestion
This is a neat idea, but I'm not digging your bone claws too much.
They are too straight and perfect looking.
Here is an idea to get the orgainc bone look.
Get some thicker gage wire, just some twisties frm old figures, the thicker the better.
Roll those in some Apoxie to build up the clay around the wire.
Now you can shape them to the right curve, and they will have some thickness and detail.
After they have dried for a bit, but not till they are hard, get a pin or something and etch some lines along the length of the new claws.
That would look pretty cool!
